BECOMING A CAN DO CHRISTIAN PART 1 OF 10

TEXT- Philippians 4:13

INTRODUCTION

Someone once said that a life without any goals is like a ruler without any markings. That wouldn’t be very useful. Neither would a life without any goals be very useful for God.

Since today is the first Sunday of the month and the first Sunday of this New Year of 1993, it is our theme day.

On the first Sunday of each month this year I will be preaching on our church theme which is “Becoming A Can Do Church.”

As I preach this series of sermons, I’m going to highlight 10 different people and one church mentioned in the Bible so we can get a clearer picture of what it is like to be a “Can Do Christian.”

This morning I’d like us to begin this series by looking at our theme verse in Philippians 4:13 which says, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

Let us pray

As we examine this passage of Scripture I’d like us to look at six principles for becoming a “Can Do Christian.”
