DEMON POSSESSION PART 8 OF 11

INTRODUCTION

Tonight we are going to continue with our study on the topic of angels and consider what the Bible says concerning the possibility of Christians being demon possessed.

I want to make it clear from the beginning that I personally do not believe that a Christian can become demon possessed, but there are many well known Bible scholars and teachers who do.

I would also like to say that this is not a doctrine that we would use to determine fellowship and would fall into the same category as a person's opinion concerning when Jesus Christ is coming again.

As Christians we believe that the Bible teaches He is coming again, but we all might have a difference of opinion as to when it is going to happen.

As Christians we also believe that the Bible teaches people can become demon possessed, but we all might have a difference of opinion as to whom this could happen.

Some say that only a lost person can become demon possessed, while others leave room for even a Christian to become demon possessed.

Basically there are three reasons why some people believe that a Christian can become demon possessed.
