PART 1 DANIEL IS TESTED

TEXT- DANIEL 1:1-7

INTRODUCTION

Today we are going to begin an in-depth verse-by-verse study in the Book of Daniel.

The Book of Daniel covers the time from about 605 B.C. to 530 B.C.

The three main kings found in Judah at this time were Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin, and Zedekiah.

The Book of Daniel tells us much about the nation of Israel as well as the major kingdoms of the world, but past and future.

Daniel is not only a book of prophecy, it is also a book filled with many practical applications for our lives today.

God didn’t give us this book just to help us increase our knowledge, but to change our lives.

Let’s look now at an introduction to this book and how Daniel was tested.
