THE PROOF OF A SUCCESSFUL MINISTRY
TEXT- 2 CORINTHIANS 3:1-6
INTRODUCTION
A man operated a place where those who were truly needy could find help. One day a hobo in torn and dirty clothing knocked on the door and asked for some food and clothing. The owner asked, "What are your credentials." The hobo replied, "Credentials? If these rags I'm wearing aren't credentials enough, I don't know what is!"
The best credentials a Christian minister can have are the lives of the people he works with. These are what prove the quality of his work. Ad the old saying goes, “The proof is in the pudding.”
This morning our text is found in 2 Corinthians 3:1-6 and the title of my message is, "The Proof Of A Successful Ministry."
As we study the book of 2 Corinthians we need to keep in mind that it was written by the Apostle Paul to show the church in Corinth the kind of ministry he had. Here in our text Paul gives us three proofs of a successful ministry.
