HOW TO WAGE SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Text- 2 Corinthians 10:1-9
Introduction
This morning I would like us to continue with our study from the book of Second Corinthians which the apostle Paul wrote to the church in Corinth on the topic of ministry.
Throughout this book Paul has been defending his ministry against the attacks of those who have doubted his authenticity as an apostle.
Some doubted his sincerity, his integrity as well as his authority.
Anytime we become involved in the ministry of the Lord we can expect to be attacked by those who do not want to see God’s work and ministry advance.
Some visitors went to a zoo and were amazed to find a cage that contained a fox and four chickens. Above the cage was a sign that read, "Peaceful Coexistence." The people asked the zoo keeper how the two different animals could live together in the same cage. He went on to explain that it was easy to maintain the arrangement--all they had to do was to occasionally toss in a few more chickens.
This morning the title of my message is, "How To Wage Spiritual War" and our text is found in 2 Corinthians 10:1-9.
As we consider these verses I’d like us to learn five ways we can be successful in our battle against the Devil.
